Ralph Mendy Henderson Jr. is a senior financial executive and board advisor with more than 30 years of experience in financial leadership, capital markets, corporate growth strategy, and impact investing. His work centers on expanding access to capital and business opportunities for marginalized and underrepresented communities.


As National Director of Corporate Banking and Impact Investing at Genesis Bank & Statutory Trust, Mr. Henderson leads growth advisory services, institutional impact funding, and strategic partnerships across key U.S. markets. He also advances the bank’s corporate banking, impact investing, and economic-development initiatives.


Throughout his career, Mr. Henderson has led mergers and acquisitions advisory engagements, private-equity governance initiatives, and institutional capital-placement transactions, helping facilitate more than $22 billion in corporate investments. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of Zebra Brothers Capital and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of National Unity Capital Partners, an impact investment firm focused on economic development and expanding access to capital.


Mr. Henderson previously served as President of Attorney Recovery Systems, a top-five corporate legal mediation and collections firm that employed more than 165 staff members at its peak. His other leadership roles include Chief Operating Officer of Pacific Capital; founder and Chief Executive Officer of BT Capital, an impact investment and business consulting firm with locations in Beverly Hills, New York, and Chicago; founder of The Pathway Capital Group; and Vice President of Client Relations in Smith Barney’s Media & Entertainment Division.


His banking experience includes serving as a director of OneUnited Bank, one of the nation’s largest Black-owned banks, and as a national advisor to the Black Bankers Association.


Mr. Henderson also maintains a strong commitment to civic and community advancement. He serves as President of Corporate Partnerships for the Equal Justices Now Foundation and National Director of the Pangos Foundation. In addition, he has served as an independent outside senior advisor to the Los Angeles Urban League, the Los Angeles NAACP, and the Los Angeles County Democratic Party. In these advisory capacities, he was not an employee or staff member of these organizations.
